Held luggage secure for 1500 miles a couple of weekend ago. I Like these better than Rok Straps.
I am using these to stabilize R-40 panniers to the legs of my rack. The tensioning action of the straps seems proportional to the load, and helps snug the luggage in tightly, eliminating most movement. The webbing and buckle are probably way over-rated for this application -- they are not going to break. Protect from heat and road rash, and tie up your loose ends and keep them out of the chain & spokes, duh!
These straps are nice..heavy duty webbing and buckles. I use them to hold gear on the back of the back rack of my subaru..I'll be using them to pack gear on my Harley and lawn mower trailer also. I'll be getting more of these!
