How it beats the heat

Most heat shields are just folded metal. The Chilly Exhaust Heat Shield uses a three-piece design that fights both kinds of heat that reach your gear, conductive and radiant. That is what makes it so effective.

Conductive heat: A solid top shield sits on two side rails, joined with rivets and spacers. That cuts conductive heat transfer down to just 4 small contact points with the shield, so far less heat moves into the top.

Radiant heat: The top shield has no cutouts, so radiant heat can't pass straight through. Underneath, a patented, insulated reflective blanket reduces radiant heat. Green Chile Adventure Gear has an agreement to be the only motorcycle-related company allowed to use this blanket material.

The included stainless steel clamp makes it simple to install.
