Add load carrying capacity to a plastic fender.

The Green Chile Adventure Gear Hardcore Soft Rack is a purpose built motorcycle rack specifically designed for smaller bikes that have very little support in the back for luggage. The loops on the base and the side straps provide attachment points for our strap kits to secure bags across the back and down the sides of your motorcycle.

We have incorporated two carbon fiber support bars to increase rear carrying capacity.

NOTE: Aluminum support bars have been upgraded to carbon fiber, there is no longer tire iron functionality.

Construction Features:

  • Heavy Duty Metal Cams
  • Rubber cam buckle covers to protect your bike
  • MOLLE Compatible Spacing
  • Heavy Duty Nylon Webbing
  • Integrated storage for support bars
  • Carbon Fiber Support Bars
  • All Attachments Fully Adjustable
  • Weight 1.8 lbs / .81 kg

As always, every product comes with our Hardcore Warranty and Raving Fan Guarantee

confused about product

Why on this earth, would the tire irons be taken out of a useful product? To save a few ounces and just be a make shift rack. Do you have one with the tire irons still? I would purchase that.

Denver, thanks for the feedback....and we agree with you! We did not like having to stop the tire irons. We were forging those in house and the demand got to be more than we could keep up with. We have tried a few prototypes with some factories, but the quality has not been up to our requirements. We haven't forgotten about them and we do want to bring them back, but I don't know when that will be. The cool thing is if you get a Hardcore now and use it, if/when we get to bring the tire irons back it will be an easy upgrade to get a set and put them in your Hardcore.

Product: I like the fact that I was able to buy something that did not require permanent attachment (metal rack). It seems well designed. I have only used it on one ride and it came loose, largely on account of the fact that the hooks on the rear straps have too tight of a hook to register well on the fender of my particular bike (2016 EXCF 350). I was able to solve that by moving them further back, behind the turn signals, where the fender is a little thinner. Still wish they accomodated slightly thicker fender material. After I remounted it, it stayed on. I have a Kriega drypack I am mounting to this, and I discovered ways (after this ride) that I can modify that pack to possibly mount better to your system.
Instructions: very poor literature and guidance on HOW to attach. Lots of online reviews and such, which was helpful in deciding WHETHER or not to purchase, but worthless in exactly HOW to attach. Couldn't figure it out for the life of me first time I tried. Went to bed, slept on it, and figured it out (I think) the second time. Maybe I missed or am missing something, but a Youtube on specifics of how to attach, and/or something other than the (in my humble opinion) nearly worthless printed instructions that come with it--either or both of these would have helped greatly.
Service: In the middle of my initial setback installing it, I reaching out by email and got a very quick response, which was fantastic. Keep up the good work there.
All in all, I have high hopes that I'll make the HCSR work well for my bike, and hopefully with the Kriega pack, and I know that your service department will be there if I need it down the road.

I have been using it on GPX 300 motorcycle (dirt-dual/sport). It is loaded with 2 side bags (14Lx2) and a top 30L bag. I have put about 500 miles of dirt roads and tarmac. Everything is in place, nothing has moved. Also the straps are not that far from the exhaust (1-2 inch), and they don't show any sign of fatigue.

Great Product!

Awesome for my 350 gas gas. How ever I broke the 5/8 clip and have been trying to buy one but haven’t gotten a response back this is the second time I’ve contacted them no response.

I only saw one email and sent a link to our replacement buckles, but after asking more questions it turns out its a ROK strap that he needs a buckle for. We don't make those its a different manufacturer.
