High Quality Gear

I hope to never have to use the Z-Drag in a real life situation, but it is comforting to know that you can pull yourself out of a jam or ditch or ravine or mud or sand when the situation arises. I figured that a system would NEED to have quality components to pull heavy motorcycle out of these situation, but I was pleasantly surprised that the material and components surpassed my expectations. When opening the box, I immediately could tell the bag containing the rig was very sturdy. Green Chili put real thought and care into the bag design and its use. It looked nice too with the black and green colors. The carabiner is well crafted. The screw lock twists smoothly. Just by looking at the carabiner, you sense it is high quality.

The straps and pulleys inside the bag are ready to go. There is no setting up the rig. It is all set up for you. I did test the Z-Drag on a 50 lb weight, so that I would know how it works. It only took a couple of minutes to rig it. This is the first time that I have used a pulley system. The adjustability of the system is easy to, for pulling a short distance to pretty far. Sorry, I do not have measurements to give here. And of course, because the line is straps and not rope, you will have less tangles. In the end, I am very happy with the Z-Drag. Now I can go on some real adventures.

Easy to order and fast delivery. The product is in a nice pack and there is even an instruction card. It is color coded for ease of usage. I haven’t tried the product yet but I know I will soon.

Best thing since sliced bread!!

The Z Drag recovery kit is super lightweight. It come in a small soft bag, which fits in my soft panniers perfectly. Right along with the Dynamic tow strap!!!! Wouldn’t ride without them, especially on a solo run.

The Z-drag works exactly as advertised, I used it along with a 25 dollar synthetic winch line for quads from Amazon to recover my bike after a crash in the trees on a hill. Work flawlessly, set up in minute, no tangles, quick to put away ready for next time. I carry 2-50 ft synthetic winch lines so I can always reach an anchor point, rope just stretches and this stuff doesn't.

Saved My Ass

I ordered the recovery bag and when the order didn't ship out in time, Green Chiles arranged for it to arrive at a hotel along my Trans America Trail route. A few days later I was trapped in the Oregon mountains and needed to slide my 650 pound GS under a road closure gate. Without the recovery bag I would have been stuck. I'll make a video...I am grateful and impressed. Very easy and intuitive to use.
