Make any bag motorcycle luggage.

The Bag Snake kit works great for rear bags and side bags. When rigged with a side bag the second ring on the ring tensioner creates a secondary buckle so you can loosen the top for access and your bag doesn't fall away from the bike.

When rigged for a rear bag the diagonal section of the strap prevents any slippage over the ends of the bag. For this reason, the Bag Snake is great for smaller rear bags.

The Bag Snake kit includes:

  • 1 Heavy Duty Cam Tension Loop
  • 1 Heavy Duty Metal Ring Tension Loop
  • 1 Six Foot Runner Loop
  • 1 Heavy Duty Metal Ring Loop

Things You Should Know:

  • Dry bags NOT included
  • One Bag Snake kit will secure one bag. If you want to carry two bags you will need two Bag Snake kits.
  • Actual weight: 220 Grams/.48 Pounds

We recommend Explorer and Watershed Dry Bags

Excellent gear

These snake kits are great. With the Uprising soft rack, it's very easy to get bags loaded on the bike and they hold well in gnarly conditions. Another plus, if the strap isn't long enough for a bigger bag, you can swap in a standard tie-down strap.

Bag Snakes have slithered into my heart 😉

As with most GCAG gear these bag snakes are extremely versatile and well built. If you can get the strap around it, they'll hold it on your bike. Serious gear, love them, need more...

GCAG Bag Snake Kit

I've been using the Mondo Strap kit for the past several months and this is another great product from Green Chili. Guess I'll have to take a bunch more trips to decide which I like best.

gear tie straps

Got a set of tie straps/attaching units from GCAG. I like the concepts, and the quality looks good. I am heading out on a 2 month ADV ride into Mexico (tomorrow if all goes as planned now) and will get to see how well they really work. I have high expectations!
