Mondo Straps are named after the classic motorcycle movie, "Mondo Enduro". When they set out on their world trip they had hard luggage on their bikes. By the end of the movie the riders that were still pushing forward were all using simple straps and some homemade dry bags. The simple fact is soft luggage is more durable off road than hard luggage.
The Mondo Straps Kit has been designed to work with or without our soft racks. These straps allow you to use any bag you want for luggage. When installed properly you will be able to thrash about offroad and your luggage will stay put!
To use the Mondo Straps make a girth hitch around any mount point on your bike. Next, thread the flat runner back through the heavy duty metal cam buckle and pull it tight. The Mondo straps are easy on and easy off. The integrated tensioner system will keep your luggage in place no matter what terrain your adventure takes you on.

I love these straps, they're super convenient to secure just about anything to your motorcycle. They're extremely good quality and feel like they'll last a long time. However, I had to take a star off because there's no way to manage the slack. I decided to go on a top speed run on my bike and was too lazy to take the straps off, so I just tucked them underneath each other and hoped it would stay. Somewhere along the ride, my straps got caught in the rear wheel and I of course didn't feel it. There was actually so much friction that it started a small fire behind me, which burned through my straps and a little of my rear seat. I probably looked like ghost rider for a couple of minutes while that fire burned through the straps behind me. Luckily, I was fine and my bike was fine, but my straps were toast. Promptly went and reordered a set, this time with some web dominators.
Really great design. Love these to strap on dry bags. Took off 1 star because they should come with a pair of web dominators or at least basic Velcro strap management
I remember years ago throwing the idea for what became the mondo strap up at Ben. 100% everything I've wanted from a gear strap for years.
I took 2 sets of these with me on my trip to Colorado.
Glad I did. I have found so many uses for them from simply attaching things to bike to a makeshift clothes line to dry clothes.
I will include these on every trip I take from here on out.
