Make sure it is mounted very securely!

I bought this as an off-road rack solution for my WR450. Unfortunately there weren’t any obvious mounting spots for the rear, so I bought the GCAG mounting brackets to help. No matter how I mounted it though, it would not stay completely secure and always had a little movement. I tested in on road and it performed perfectly. However, when I took it off-road one of the straps either loosened slightly, or an anchor point shifted and the rack and my bag shifted onto my exhaust and melted completely. Sad I only got one use out of it and a bunch of my gear was wrecked.

Lesson learned, make sure you mount it so that it has absolutely no play, otherwise the rough riding will cause too much weight shifting and problems will occur.

Real ipressmmm

I have just received a GCAG Uprising Soft Bag Kit, Bag Snake Kit, and a Mondo Strap Kit which I ordered for use on my Africa Twin. While I was waiting for them to arrive I was initially kicking myself for ordering just days before they all went on sale. No more! That disappointment immediately went away when I received and examined the gear. The build quality, the ruggedness, and the attention to detail of GCAG is outstanding! The numerous strapping options that I now have is fantastic. Keep up the great work, GCAG! A shout out to Adventure Rider Radio for making me aware of Green Chili! Hell, now I’m waiting on my second order!

Still have to ship it from the US to the Philippines

Practical, light and awesome!

So I am very happy with the soft rack, I purchased it for my Duke 390 to fit a pair of soft waterproof bags, it took me a minute to understand how to set it up, but once I figured it out, it takes a couple of minutes to remove it or put it back, it’s really practical ,light and cost effective way to add gear to my bike, their support even before the purchase was great, I am very happy with my purchase and definitely will purchase more gear from them.

Expensive and overrated

We paid 65Us$ to import it in Europe. If the manufacturer would have made it available through Amazon or a UK distributor. It would be worth the price tag (which is still expensive for what it is).if possible I would ask for refund and buy some high end straps to achieve the same.

Unfortunately we can't change what customs fees and taxes get applied. Its different for every country. We are currently working on building out a dealer network, including the UK. I'll send you an email.
