GCAG Z-Drag Recovery System

Simplify self recovery with our quick deploy Z-Drag kit.

It can sap your energy trying to get your bike unstuck. It can also fall in a way that makes it difficult to pick up. The Z-Drag is a common rig to give you a mechanical advantage for reduced pull. MONDO UL STRAPS

I did not think this was possible but these straps are BETTER than Roxbecause of the way you can hold the extra strap length.

Stuck in a rut

Was out with friends riding in the Florida swamps on a BMW 1250 GSA... got the rear wheel buried to the axial with the bike resting on the skid plate... the 3 of us weren't going to move it... out came the Green Chilly rescue system and 5 mins later I was out and soon on our way.... first thing I did when I got home was write this review and order one for my bike.... outstanding system and worked perfectly... thanks Green Chilly

Mud puddle with no bottom. Green Chile to the rescue

What looked like a small puddle turned into a muck filled Jeep swallowing hole. The KTM had enough surface area to stay on top of the muck right in the middle but when I stepped off I felt my foot reaching for firm surface and when the mud gave way and the water was up to the top of my thigh as I abandoned any hope of finding the bottom of this mini-monster, I pushed off the bike and leaned for the shore where I grabbed a log and cried for HELP! My buddy that was taking the picture of the bike being upright stuck with me on it ran over and grabbed my hands and pulled me out. It was like a movie where the person steps into a small puddle and goes under. I never felt my foot touch the bottom. The bike was stuck and the Jeep ruts made it impossible to stand next to the bike and pull it out. Out came my buddies Green Chile extraction system. We got a near-by tree and the strap to my rear grab rail. It made short work of pulling the bike out while I was able to keep the bike upright from the side of the puddle. I just purchased one for myself and will be carrying it from now on. Worth every penny! Great product!

High Quality Gear

I hope to never have to use the Z-Drag in a real life situation, but it is comforting to know that you can pull yourself out of a jam or ditch or ravine or mud or sand when the situation arises. I figured that a system would NEED to have quality components to pull heavy motorcycle out of these situation, but I was pleasantly surprised that the material and components surpassed my expectations. When opening the box, I immediately could tell the bag containing the rig was very sturdy. Green Chili put real thought and care into the bag design and its use. It looked nice too with the black and green colors. The carabiner is well crafted. The screw lock twists smoothly. Just by looking at the carabiner, you sense it is high quality.

The straps and pulleys inside the bag are ready to go. There is no setting up the rig. It is all set up for you. I did test the Z-Drag on a 50 lb weight, so that I would know how it works. It only took a couple of minutes to rig it. This is the first time that I have used a pulley system. The adjustability of the system is easy to, for pulling a short distance to pretty far. Sorry, I do not have measurements to give here. And of course, because the line is straps and not rope, you will have less tangles. In the end, I am very happy with the Z-Drag. Now I can go on some real adventures.
