Mondo Straps are named after the classic motorcycle movie, "Mondo Enduro". When they set out on their world trip they had hard luggage on their bikes. By the end of the movie the riders that were still pushing forward were all using simple straps and some homemade dry bags. The simple fact is soft luggage is more durable off road than hard luggage.
The Mondo Straps Kit has been designed to work with or without our soft racks. These straps allow you to use any bag you want for luggage. When installed properly you will be able to thrash about offroad and your luggage will stay put!
To use the Mondo Straps make a girth hitch around any mount point on your bike. Next, thread the flat runner back through the heavy duty metal cam buckle and pull it tight. The Mondo straps are easy on and easy off. The integrated tensioner system will keep your luggage in place no matter what terrain your adventure takes you on.

Really great design. Love these to strap on dry bags. Took off 1 star because they should come with a pair of web dominators or at least basic Velcro strap management
I remember years ago throwing the idea for what became the mondo strap up at Ben. 100% everything I've wanted from a gear strap for years.
I took 2 sets of these with me on my trip to Colorado.
Glad I did. I have found so many uses for them from simply attaching things to bike to a makeshift clothes line to dry clothes.

While Rok straps are grear, you have to worry about plastic buckles breaking--not so with the metal cam buckles on the Mondo straps.
They're incredibly strong, come in my favourite colours, and I know I can trust them to keep my gear tightly fastened to my bike. I use them in conjunction with GCAG bag snakes on my Uprising harness when I don't want to bring my aluminum panniers. Fantastic stuff!

This is the second strap kit I’ve bought. They are very useful and easy to use. I just strapped a front and rear Michelin Awake Wild to my rear rack with these straps and had no issues. The straps held them down nicely!
