The Bag Snake kit works great for attaching motorcycle rear bags and side bags. When rigged with a side bag the second ring on the ring tensioner creates a secondary buckle so you can loosen the top for access and your bag doesn't fall away from the bike.
When rigged for a rear bag the diagonal section of the strap prevents any slippage over the ends of the bag. For this reason, the Bag Snake is great for smaller rear bags.

Second pair of bag snakes for me. They are so simple, yet so effective. Had to have another set to strap bags to the Husky FE350 for a camping trip with the boys. Worked great!
I love the Bag Snake Kit. It worked so well for securing bags to the sides of my bike, I’m getting one to secure my top bag. Two things I appreciate are that it works with any bag, and it really brings the mass of the bag close into the bike.
No matter what methods I used before, my bags would loosened during a ride. That’s not the case with the Bag Snake
